On December 29, 2005, Contrast Delivery Repair Services, Inc. (“CDRS”) had is assets acquired by Coeur Inc., (“Coeur”).
Coeur, Inc. with its corporate offices in Lebanon, Tennessee, has molding and assembly facilities in North Carolina, tubing extrusion and assembly in Wisconsin, as well as several other assembly operations.
Coeur Medical, a division of Coeur, Inc., markets high volume, high-pressure syringes used for the delivery of contrast agents during medical imaging procedures performed in Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology, and CT Labs.
Coeur OEM is a state-of-the-art designer and contract manufacturer for the medical and commercial marketplace with manufacturing and assembly operations in North Carolina and Wisconsin. In addition to manufacturing and assembling its own proprietary line, the company offers a full complement of services ranging from design, molding, tubing extrusion, assembly and packaging of medical devices. Coeur OEM also provides regulatory support including 510(k) submissions and sterilization services to the medical marketplace.
Coeur acquired CDRS to support Coeur’s branded syringe product offering. The “new” Coeur Service Division will significantly improve its ability to service existing Coeur direct accounts and will provide an important marketing channel for increasing sales on syringes, service as well as parts. Coeur plans to expand the geographic footprint into other areas of the country.
